VVT engine swap (lots of mods)
I wanted to share the final dyno PTuning in VA came up with for me. I felt great numbers for a Dyno Dynamics! Much thanks to Keegan for the amazing engine build. It was a lot of fun on the track. Only change I am going to make is the exhaust to the 2.375 Fujitsubo in hopes to maybe gain some up top.
Here is a fairly complete list of mods: 1994 Body 2001+ VVT Engine with CNC port and polished head Custom Cam Shafts +1mm valves Flow Force 640 Injectors 84MM 11:1 pistons Thermal Coating on pistons, combustion chamber, valves, and exhaust ports Skunk TB Flat top intake manifold port matched to TB and intake ports 3d printed intake RB header and Goodwin exhaust 2.25 inch exhaust 8000k redline (all the reliability mods for this) MSLabs MS3 Basic https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...9e040eda8a.jpg |
Man, thats really good power for a BP. Looks like it hits VTEC @ 4500 is that just the car coming on cam? Looks great
|
Yeah odd curve xD is the 11:1 causing the limit in lower rpm? but yee thats a high peak for no boost
Do you have a pic of that 3d printed intake? :o |
Here is a pic of the engine bay. My guess is the cams are the reason for the curve the way it is. But just a guess.

That is solid power, must be fun. Good work man.

Nice work. I had a similar combination without the internal work (stock cams, stock VVT) and made 151whp. People thought I was full of crap. VVT, flat top and that 3d printed intake work!
Edit - didn't realize this was a necro thread... my bad... |
Only like 2 months old. Hardly a necro!
I don't see the dyno in the OP now though. |
