Okay, so today I had a tuning appointment at Sound Performance, most known for their 1000 + whp Supras. I cannot be more pleased, the car runs so smoothly it is a night and day difference from my last tune. This chart isn't the last run we ran her to 7,500 and made about 15 more hp, but I forgot it at the shop, but will pick it up Monday. Needless to say, the car made 425 whp 310 wtq @ 18 psi. Next year I am going PRO EFI ECU with a flex fuel sensor and E85, the tuner said I should have no problem making close to 600 whp. This would have to be some sort of B6 record? Needless to say the car makes me Enjoy, btw this is on a Mustang dyno...should make close to 470 whp on a Dynojet or similar. EDIT: this was only at 17 degrees of timing, very conservative.

those flipside manifolds... i think you can rev your engine to 8500 and your power line will keep going at that rate....
the runners are so short that your going to make power really high.
but the numbers are about where i anticipated.... torque is lower.
why limit it at 18psi? your engine is BUILT, crank it up!
ps why the ECU change?

Yeah, I could rev higher and made more power but I just wanted to keep everything safe for right now. My torque was also still going up. I am broke because of this car, and cannot afford to have it blow up, but next year with different fuel, and engine management should make 550+ whp at around 30 psi.

Yeah man, should make 450ish @ 20 pounds on a Mustang, who knows on a Dynojet, maybe 460-470? lol...it's pretty insane, I actually on barely got on it on the way home and she was sideways with NT01's in the rear.

Thanks man! I really didn't think a 1.6L with such low boost pump gas, could make the power it did. The tuner was shocked and he tunes 1000+ whp Supras all the time, then he went on to tell me that he can put my car deep into the 10's and that I should let him drive it lol.

OMFG, that must be retarded to drive. What transmission are you destroying? Its crazy to think that I could probably make numbers like that if I stopped being a vagina and turned up the boost.

Kelford 272 cams, correct? Flat torque to 7000rpm is nuts.
Dyno pulls starting at 3500rpm make me cry at night, though. It's pretty clear they tune 1000+whp Supras and nothing else. Take it back and ask them to do a pull from 2000rpm so we can get a full look at what the torque curve looks like.

Yes, 272 Kelfords the torque was still going up. That dip at the end is where he lifted at 7,000 on that run, the run to 7,500 it started to flatten, horsepower still looked like it was rising. I may do a run starting that low, if there is a dyno day around here sometime, with the bigger turbo and short runner manifold I think I wouldn't be anything to look at though.

Wooh! I am so glad to see some great numbers. So much power at only 18psi and is this 93 pump? Sorry if you mentioned it already, I looked and didn't see it.
How is the drivability? I can only imagine what it's like in boost, but how is stop and go driving with those cams?
1.6 for life! I can't wait to be making this kind of power next year, it's gonna happen...
