E-Manage Resistor

Hi folks,

Do anyone here have the greddy resistor and white adaptor that comes with the E-Manage Blue available? I am looking for one since I got a complete E-Manage Blue (main unit, all harnesses, pressure sensor, support tool etc) from a friend with a Honda but he doesnt have the resistor/adapter.

Here is a picture of what I am referring to:

I would be willing to pay shipping on the item via PayPal. Email me at oliver_sargeant@hotmail.com if you can help.

Regards

i dont know what the little plastic things gonna do, but you can buy those resistors for cheap at Frys or radioshack. like a buck or two for 5

I recommend this way

1k (1/4 or 1/2 watt doesn't matter) can be had almost anywhere, or hack one out of an old radio.

I agree also, does anyone have any more input?

I am only able to find 1.5K resistors here at the electronic stores, would these work?

The link posted by Jefe is a superb way of wiring in the resistor and yes, you will need to find a 1K resistor. Try hacking apart an old circuit and salvaging one from the pcb.

Radio Shack #271-152
1k Ohm Metal-Oxide 1W 5%
2 for $1.
I have a pack right next to me on my desk...

just solder it between the "afm in" wire and ground...its just a loading resistor to stop the MAF voltage from floating. you dont need the splice thing.(in fact its better NOT to use the splice thing as its a major weak point for a bad connection.)
