e-manage ultimate
 

Ok so my friend has a greddy e-manage ultimate he's trying to sell me for 300 bucks which I hear is a decent price. It comes with a universal harness and data cable. The problem is he had it installed in his turboed 02 maxima automatic and he couldnt get a tps signal out of it. I'm thinking either he had installation issues or it couldn't pick up on the maximas drive by wire system. My questions are is it worth buying and if anyone is using one how do they like it? It is user friendly? Compared to megasquirt am I limited to a lot of tuning capabilities? Is installation really hard or should I just go with a boomslang harness? Any kind of input is welcome thanks in advance!

I had that issue due to a wire backwards on my harness- I love the EMU fyi going on 3 or 4 years I think. I havent been limited at all and have been running 15psi the entire time... it just depends on your creativity and knowledge of maps and tuning (just like anything else really) Its also pretty good when you get ready to do your MAF delete:)
