EMB only works when connected to computer
 

my emb only works when it's physically connected to a laptop. when the computer is unplugged the map doesn't work (although all the values are still held on the emb) and the car runs very lean.

found this out at a recent dyno/tuning session. car ran well and made good power with the laptop connected but like a bag of shit when the PC cable was disconnected.

anyone come across this problem before?
