Bad option port EMU

Default Bad option port EMU

Any one no where you could get a replacment option port for the EMU. one off mine had a bad accident with some crazy glue.

I'd be willing to pay for one if someone might have an old unit laying aroud that doesn't work.

What exactly do you need, an spare option port harness?



You can get it from mohdparts.com. You can also use an internal CD-Rom audio cable. If I remember correctly it's the NEC style. I also remember someone posting that the more commonly found CD rom cables that are wider with an extra pin can also be used if you cut it with an x-acto knife.

It's probably not worth the hassle to source the correct connector port. The option port is only 3 pins. Personally I would just solder wires to it and use 1/4" quick disconnects from Radio Shack.



I assume the unit and wires is hidden so it doesn't need to look pretty.
