My Emanage Ultimate is on the way. I cant figure out if I need to order a pressure sensor to remove the MAF system or if I only have to do that if I have emanage blue. If I still need that harness is there a different one for the blue and ultimate?

 

You cannot remove the AFM or MAF with the Emanage Blue. You must have a pressure sensor to do it with the Ultimate. I believe the same sensor plugs into the Blue and Ultimate, but leave that to others to verify. I have worked only with the EMB.

 

Is the pressure sensor needed on EMB, or is it just an aid for tuning? Can I just tune by AFR without buying the pressure sensor?

 

Pressure sensor on EMB is much more accurate for timing control than airflow.
