So my friend wants to sell me his emanage from his 02 si turbo kit. Brand new. Just wondering if I can use it with the boomslang pnp? Can I just install it with the boomslang and just go have it tuned? Or does it need to be unlocked first. This is for the greddy turbo kit btw. Thanks.

 

What kinda of car you intend to slap that EMB on? give us more detail about your bult. Guessing now, it would be an 90-93 Miata w/ Greddy turbo.

- EMB is pretty universal for most cars. Boomslang would work deny with the car model which they were applied for.

- The only thing locked would be an Password Lock on the map set for previous car. Other then that, set a few jumpers and you could tune it.

How would I go about unlocking the emanage my self? Or would I have to go through GReddy? Alnso my friend does't have the wiring harness for the emanage. He just has the emanage itself. Does the Boomslang pnp come with the harness?

 

YOU do not need to unlock it, the only think you might need to phyically change is some jumper at the back of the circuit board. Just unscrew the box and take the board out.

If you have the Boomslang, there is not need for the Greddy wiring.
