Should I E-manage, and is it right for me?

Ok,

I have a 99 Miata. I have a whole turbo setup, at least most of it. I need a ECU

For 100$ I can get a E-manage Ult.

Will this work to be a standalone ECU for a Turbo Miata?

Are they good?

Noob to noob here, run as far away from emanage as you can. I tried using one in 2006 on a k-series honda build and it was dated technology back then. Now it would be like using MS-DOS to access the internet. Ended up going kpro and it made a world of difference.

Megasquirt seems to be the popular choice here and with reason. Don't cut corners here. There's an insane amount of info on this site to help get you started.
