Someone in San Jose to help tune?
Hello all,
I'm looking for someone in or near San Jose to help me tune my EMB. It's running nice now with a map from olderguy. Is there anyone out there that can help me tune? Tony |
Send me the current .gsc file along with a datalog of a spirited run(both files) and I'll see if there is anything further I can do from here.

OK. I'll try to have the logs to you today or tomorrow.
Just an update: At about 3500 rpm under moderate (not hard) acceleration, the is a very defined hop. I'm sure that it has to do with the boost now in the system (I just added a manual boost controller that brought the boost from ~2-3 psi to ~6-7 psi). I have the feeling that there is a fuel change in the table at that point that is causing the "pop". Hopefully the logs will show something. Tony |
Tony, at 3500 rpm, you should consider checking the clamp voltage. It sounds like a tip-in issue potentially, where the car is boosting down low... but the ECU is pulling stuff out.
Also, I found that if I removed the 49% TPS tuning row, it helped a lot with the transition stuff around 0 vac.... Dave, |
