Blowing engine fuse on WOT

I have a 1999 running a ms2 and on WOT the engine fuse blows. It doesn't happen until around 4000 RPM and when coming into boost.

this started happening on a four hour road trip to school, I believe my PPF had a crack in it, so my transmission would move and while on the gas, the trans would begin to hit the trans tunnel. Unfortunately, while on the highway, my engine fuse blew (not the first time) and I had to pull off onto the shoulder and get a tow to an autozone to pick up some new fuses. At the time, I thought some of the PPF bolts were loose, so I also bought a 17mm socket and a ratchet (I brought no tools.. Don't ask why). All the bolts were tight, and I went on my way after replacing the fuse. I was careful not to get into boost because I didn't want the transmission banging around in the trans tunnel.

A few days after getting to school, I went on a drive, and my PPF broke on the differential side. Just this week, I bought a jack and jackstands, and replaced the PPF. While on a test drive, the 15A engine fuse blew once again, except this time the PPF was working properly and nothing was moving.

Prior to this, I had assumed that the fuse was blowing because something was contacting the body which wasn't supposed to due to the broken PPF. However, now with everything rigid, I am still blowing the fuse.

I am wondering where to begin with my diagnosis. Should I take a log and look at duty cycles on spool-up? Should I buy a multimeter and check the sensors?
Or, could the ECU be fried? maybe looking inside the megasquirt could help?
The harness on this car has cut wires, and I am willing to bet that something is shorting. However, I could be wrong. Thank you!
