Changing LS coils for Toyota COP

Hey guys, my turbo 97 came with LS coils installed, I think i finally burned one out and wanted to go with a cleaner looking setup, so I purchased a pnp COP kit and bracket. However upon firing the car it sounds like its cammed at idle and maybe running on 3 cylinders if i attempt to rev it at all. Just wondering what wiring I may need to change to get it to run the COP kit or if I am better off just trying to buy LS coils and mounting them in a nicer fashion. Really trying not to go too crazy with the car as I will be starting school in about 3 weeks so money is tight for right now. Hoping its a simple fix but with my luck it never is. Car is running MS3X.

Toyota COPs are worse than LS coils, so i wouldn't personally make the downgrade.

So best bet is to find a bracket for the LS coils and just replace them? I just wasnt happy with the fit of them the previous owner had them zip tied to a line on the firewall and it looked like ass

Good news: There are brackets available.

Yeah just found some after the fact, and way cheaper than this garagestar kit that I just bought, live and learn I guess

Yeah use ls coils instead. You can get used ones from ebay or lkq. During black friday i thought lkq had 20% off or something. Lots of good jnfo on ls coils here.

Thats what I'm gonna do, I figure if the wiring was changed to run them to just get new ones, sadfab has brackets and wires to mount them up nice. Pretty disappointed that I asked the tuner if this would be direct plug and play despite having the LS coils and he said it would be. Hopefully I'll be able to sell the kit and bracket and make my money back and not be a total loss.
