Cheap display for LC-1?

Does anybody know of a way to cheaply display AFR from an LC-1/2 serial output?

Yes, I know of the DB gauge, but it isnt cheap and it doesnt really need to be in a round gauge package. I was hoping to build/buy something that would just have a couple 7 segments which could be integrated into my cluster easily.

Innovate was nice enough to supply us with the serial protocol, unfortunately Im a shit programmer. The only way I could think to do it would be to use the LC-1 analog output which is kinda of the ass-backwards approach.

An Arduino and a cheap 2.25" voltmeter gauge is probably the cheapest approach. Requires writing a teeny bit of code though.

I was getting my google-fu on and stumbled upon an obvious solution. The LC-1's analog output can be programmed to whatever scale you want it to be. So simply setting 1v = 10.0:1 and 2v = 20.0:1 means that you can use a little millivolt voltmeter as a gauge. The only complication is the decimal being in the wrong place.

I am using this one with my LC-1 - decimal point is adjustable via jumpers
and there is calibration potentiometer, you can calibrate voltmeter with reference power supply.

Props, brother.

That is fantastic. Thank you!
