I have an aftermarket Fuel Lab mini regulator. It's getting vacuum from the same line as the blow off valve. But my only issue is it not wanting to start on really hot days after I've been reving it hard.

Again, not certain on the software for the Hydra. If it starts well cold and not hot then possibly you need to try some different cranking enrichment values at that temperature. Possibly it needs more or maybe less fuel when hot? Try some different values in that temp range and see what effect it has.

I lowered the Cranking Fuel Trim from 20 to 10 for temperatures greater than 194°F. I'll test it out later this week.

FJS, what do your cranking and ASE tables look like? How long are you priming your fuel pump and injectors?

Hydra operates and names things different. I don't believe I have an After Start Enrichment Table. I believe I have a Volumetric Efficiency Table and then an assortment of trim tables that piggy back off the VE table and do their thing. I have an old tiny laptop in my car that I don't connect to the internet. Sorry in advance for the bad pictures.

Speaking from my experience tuning the car on Speeduino, I think you would get better results by adding more air to cranking and fuel to post start trims at temps above ~170F.
My car starts and idles decently after changing my tables from a decreasing line to more of a U shape. I now add a lot of fuel to ASE and open my IAC more if the coolant is at operating temps. Check out the after start enrichment table on my tune here (I think it's a bit out of date, but should get the point across) https://tunes.speeduino.com/#/t/8y13...tartupIdle/ASE |
