Exhaust temp
Whats common exhaust temp at idle with a turbo setup.
I know theres a lot of variables that play into this but someone give me their info and let me know what afr\timing you are running. Thanks |
Google says 250C to 680C [480F - 1250F]
I have also heard that 700F is a norm |
400 celcius 2 inches from the exhaust valve.
But it depends on many factors such as ignition timing, AFR and position of the sensor. But also the used fuel matters. EGT is there to do a differential measurement. Try to get the lowest EGT without knock. The red LED is the Techedge wideband, the blue is a Voltmeter. 1 volt is 100 degrees celcius. |
