Default Alternator Control Board Help (1999-DIYPNP)

I’m currently in the process of installing my Westfield Alternator Control Board and wanted to ask what I could possibly be doing wrong.

As of right now I have the 12v and Ground on the board connected to their respective places on the MS board. I have a wire coming from the terminal on the alternator into the MS through the DB15 port where it connects to the Field connector on the control board, as well as pin 1O for the female harness plug.

With this set up no matter how much I try to adjust the voltage it is always way too high, the car is idling rough, as well as when I give her gas the alternator immediately starts to squeal loudly.

Directions for the control board: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8jpkzfl6ym...0V3.3.pdf?dl=0

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure you have all transistors and resistors in the correct spot. You might have had 2 extra transistors in the package (BC337) that are not needed. It's easy to make a mistake and install them instead of the BC327's.
When you are sure that all transistors are correct, make sure you have no shorts between the legs.
Does the output voltage respond to the trimmer at all?

It’s currently not responding to the trimmer at all. I’ll check my transistors and post a photo of everything when I get home.

So the transistors that I current have in are BC327-25. Here’s a photo of what I got going on (ignore the ugly hot glue)

12v and Ground goes to their respective spots. Green wire goes from field to 1O. Orange wire goes from field to DB15 spot 5, which runs out to a wire out to the alternator and is clamped under the bolt (where you would normally power a timing light from)

Overview of the board.

Closer look.

I have a feeling that I should of tapped the field wire into one of the wires coming out of the plastic plug that plugs into the alternator, instead of just attaching it to the bolt where the power comes out of the alternator. Can anyone verify this?
