I dropped a fuel rail spacer WTF
I dropped one of the fuel rail spacers while swapping out injectors, and can't find it. Does anyone know where I can get another one other than the dealer?

get thick peice of plastic. Cut out round peice. Drill hole. There is your spacer.
I found a rubber grommet type thing (no idea what it was) laying on the floor that was about the right shape. worked great for about six months. When I pulled the motor out and was cleaning up I found the original one on the garage floor under some junk. |
I finally found it, as I was about to leave to go to the parts store, but thanks for the suggestions, I know what to do if it happens again.

Use a few washers stacked.... :) Or if you have a 1.8 with 3 mounting holes you can leave the middle one out. (Seen that many times before)

 This exact thing happened to me last week.

I lost one as well when I installed my injectors. I didn't have any luck leaving the middle one out (couldn't get the torque right and kept leaking from either the #1 or #4 injector), so I ordered 4 new ones from Mazda so that I have spares.
