IAC conversion help
 

I am putting a 1999/2001 vvt block/BP4W head motor into my 1993 chassis. The IAC wire colors in the 1993 harness are white/red and blue/orange. The colors on the pigtail to match the 1999 IAC are orange and purple/red. Can I just guess my best and connect them up, or is there a polarity I need to respect, and a specific color match up to do to get this right?

Polarity doesn’t matter, they’re both 12v solenoids with a ground signal.
