Injector Deadtime ?

I just installed some 550cc injectors(ausinjector) paired DW200 DeatschWerks. I changed the req fuel and left injector deadtime alone. If I changed it to .37(13 volts), it wouldn't idle, and AFR would be very sporadic. If I leave it at stock dead time 1.0, it would be somewhat fine but still act weird every 2 minutes then start idle hunting. My kpa is always around 43-47, it seems high compared to others.

This website has the stats https://www.ausinjector.com/c56010-550-4-s/

My car is 91 Turbo Miata paired with speeduino

Here the chart, I know I have to adjust to 3bar. But im clueless how to do voltage correction. And is "injector open time(ms)" at 13.2 volts ?

Does Speedino force you to choose 100% at 13.2?

no, i can change it

I would run 8, 10, 12, 13,14, 16. Then pick 12 or 13 to be 100%. Let’s say 12. You put 0.5128 for the open time.

Then divide time at each voltage by 0.5128 and multiply the result by 100. That is the % value you put in the table.

EG 8V: .9707 / .5128 * 100 = 189. That is the % at 8V
12V: .5128 / .5128 * 100 = 100. That is the % @ 12V

Etc for the other voltages in the table.

Then you have to tune VE, and other parameters as needed.

Was this ever resolved???

Sickjeremiah 01-17-2022 07:28 PM

nope. I gave up, and just bought flowforce injectors. Which run perfect.
