Okay Okay i know this is not for a miata but what better place to ask but with you guys.

So on my jeep my factory ecu freaks out when i have my AEM FIC plugged and i get a code for injector circuit open. Now if i install the bypass harness witch lets me run the jeep with out having the AEM plugged in, i dont get a code.

Now the only reason why i care about getting this code is the fact when the engine is running with this code it runs the injectors at the max limit for the rpm and map. Now the reason it putting the code out is the when i have the AEM bypassed the factory ecu sees only 5-10 OHMs of resistance from injector clip to ecu pin. Now when i have the AEM plugged in im getting 20.8K OHMs from the injector clip to the ecu pin, and yes i had the AEM turned on.

Now i called AEM and as soon as i told them the problem i was having they knew what i needed right away. It turns out on most Chrysler vehicles they ecu freaks out when it see high resistance unlike most vehicles. So they told me i need one meant for the SRT4.

So now what im thinking is what if i use 20-25 ohm resistors and run them from the ecu pin to the injectors power wire coming off the ecu. Then just tapping off injector pin before the resistor to get the injector pules to feed the AEM with.

So in theory im making the ECU see the normal resistance it would see as if i didnt have the AEM hooked up.

Here is a diagram of what im talking about. So my total resistance should be around 24.969 ohms with the resistor and aem, aem is 20.8k ohms.
