Well, today I felt magnanimous and so I cleaned all the grounds that I remember having..

This included all the ones that I had lumped together on the passenger side of the head and then the braided strap from the opposite side of the head to the chassis frame thingy near the master cylinder.

Nothing was really corroded but I dremeled the surfaces, put dielectric grease and tightened everything down.

Now I’m waiting for the motor to cool down to put on the new sensor.

You see, the wideband had been working fine for a couple of days – not showing any problems on the logs or lap top gages when it suddenly went dead – the needle just pointed down and stayed there regardless of tune. 

Got the new sensor installed, performed a free air and heater calibration.

Also got the grounds super clean and most of them in one ground plane.

I still see the readings on the lap top display drift to very lean areas.

Does anybody else have those readings ?

I can't afford a new wide band (or motor) right now.
