Link ECU with E85
Any shortcomings with the Link ECU when going to E85? I'm going to set my car up for E85 and was curious to know if I'm going to run into any roadblocks with the Link ECU? I see MS advertises that it is flex fuel compatible, but I'm not really sure if that's just a marketing gimic or what...

Flex Fuel compatibility with MegaSquirt is no gimmick. MS2 and MS3 ECUs can interface with a GM flex fuel sensor and trim your fuel and ignition based on the concentration of alcohol in your fuel.
If you don't have a flex fuel sensor, then alternatively you could use simple table switching. I don't think Link offers either of those features, though it does have the ability to scale master fuel (and master timing too if memory serves) with the keypad. |

as far as I know, the only way to run E85 on the link would be to always run the same mix and tune on that mix. If you can do that, there is no reason E85 is any different than tuning for any other fuel.

But what about fuel lines, and all other fuel system components? Does E85 wreck havoc with rubber lines?
