hay im looking to get a new piggy back ecu for my 99 miata and i wanted to know what you guys think of the AEM FIC. i like the aem and it fits what i need it for but i wanted to know what you guys think of it. i also was looking at going with the greddy emanage ultimate it would work for what i need and then some only thing is its a little bit more expensive.


so should i get the AEM or should i fork out the money for the greddy

i want to run 17-18psi and i have a built motor with 9:1comp

For 17 psi don't use a piggy.

Spending big bux for a built motor then skimping on the ECU is silly.

the only reason i am thinking of going piggy back is so i can pass emissions in ct they need to plug into your obd2 port and if they don't get a signal from the stock ecu saying every thing is good and stock then they fail you. plus any thing is better then the shitty link piggyback ecu with the 5th injector

Use a standalone, just unplug the injectors and the coil packs and leave everything else alone. With a good tune you should still pass.

I like the FIC for a piggy but I don't think I'd do more then 225 rwhp on it.
