Link standalone Question?

Before i get into asking question yes i did do a search.

Okay now here are the questions i have for the great people here.

First what link do i have how can i tell?
How to tell what map sensor i have?
Can i run a GM air temp sensor instead of this POS one that comes with the link.

I will have a few more questions when i think of them but theses are the main ones.

If its a 1.6 ecu and you have an air temp sensor its a mk2 board. The mk1 boards where even more basic and limited.

As far as I know all links came with a 2.5 bar sensor.

The air temp sensor is an addon from FM's development of the mk2 link's firmware. Ray Ayala developed the links firmware and custom air sensor for FM. If you need another air sensor you can contact him to make one for you.

The air temp is just a board with some stuff on it it looks nothing like a normal sensor. I would like to run boost and cant use this sensor in anyway. Its on a 1.6L, but the question is can i run a GM air temp sensor like the one used for the MS?

You'll have to use the link sensor. Many boosted miatas use the link ecu. While its not as convenient as screwing in a sensor you should be able to find away to mount the board.

Well looks like this pos is going for sale.
