Miata 90 megasquirt problem
 

Hello,
Last year I bought myself a megasquirt MS2 V3 that I ended up not using, because I realized that I do not have proper knowledge in that area.
Three years ago, I installed a turbo on my Miata 1990. I have laid off trying to install my standalone ECU because I have not felt like that much spending money, and I worked fairly well without it.
Now, I have reacquired my intrest for this project and would like to try installing it.
I have now tried creating an adapter from the original stock harness pinout to db37 pinout using the cable diagram attached.
I started plugging one cable at a time, got the fuelpump to start, aswell as the injectors. Then every thing suddenly stopped working. Tunerstudio, the program I use to tune, then stopped recognizing the box entirely.
I double-checked every cable, and it looks exactly like the diagram I followed.
What do I do from here? How do I know that this is the correct diagram to follow in the first place? Is anyone used to Miata tuning, and is willing to help me out.
