Anyone in the ct area know how to mess with megasquirt 1? Im in desperate need of some kind of tune. Im willing to pay for a nice road tune, i just need this car running good! Let me know thanks!

 

Take the time, read our stickied tuning threads or DIY's instructions, and do it yourself. You can do it, we believe in you.

 

Pay the ~$40 for tunerstudios and use VEAL, that was a bit of a life saver. For a stock car, the base tune should be pretty damn good. What in particular isn't working?

 

The car runs but wont stay running unless i keep throttling! Its rich as hell but at full boost it leans out to about 12.6 i really need someone to look over my setup and get running good!I've been to a couple local tuners had them download the program and they just tell me they have to do some research because they arent familiar with megasquirt. Well its been a couple months and i figured theres gotta be someone on here close by that has tuned with megasquirt! I would do it myself if i wasnt so computer illiterate

 

Have you adjusted the idle screw to keep it running? That'll help you get the afr dialed in, then you can turn down your idle and tune the rest of the fuel table.

What size injectors and what's your required fuel?

 

My buddy who has a protege messed with the idle and opened up the maf and made some adjust ments in there had it running ok for a while but if i come to a sudden stopt it would stall. Im trying to keep my afr around 11.5-12
