MSpnp2 knock sensing and power
 

I’m curious to know how much power people get out of the MSPNP2 considering the fact that the knock sensing capability is non trustworthy. How do people get higher hp without being able to sense knock? I made a set of DIY det cans with ear muffs and tube to listen for knock and my tuner thinks it’s silly. Ms3 in the future but for now how do I make this work?

I got Virtual Dyno pulls (more than one) north of 300 whp with a maxed out China charger and a MSPNP2. I've spent a LOT of time trying to tweak the knock sensing and it's "good enough" but I don't stake my engine on it. Rather I use detcans to tune at "big" power levels. Now that I've switched to a BW6758 from the China charger, I don't push it because I know the potential is much greater for destruction.

The MSPNP2 is capable, but it's limited. You can get as much power out of it as you dare (as long as you know and respect it's limitations).
