So I bought this vTPS from BMW two years ago for my 1.6l engine.
Because of emmision laws, I have to go with the OEM Ecu + Piggyback, an emanage Blue.

So I needed:
Idle switch, WOT Swich for OEM ECU
vTPS for Airflow Adjustment and Acceleration map

Got a vTPS reading, but no signal for Idle or WOT.
Then I found out, that the throttle on the BW opens in thre other direction.
No Problem if you only need the vTPS for your standalone.

But am I so far the only one with a BMW TPS and an Emanage?

I found a solution after cutting the vTPS open:

You need to pull a small metal Clip that blocks the end of the fitting for the throttle bodyshaft, that you can install the TPS BACKWARDS with some spacers and everything works:

Care to explain more? Do they actually look if you have the stock ECU in the car? You can actually pass a sniffer test using a Megasquirt.

in younger cars here,OBDII Reading is an integral part of the test.
Emmission test and technical check of the car is combined.
You also have to get a TUEV certificate for every change (suspension, muffler, engine) you make on the car. Every Certifacate contains restrictions and rules

For example:

muffler: only allowed with stock airbox and stock header and cat because of noise restrictions

wheels: restrictions in offset, the wheels have to be tested and the tireprofile musn't be seen till a certain angle.

Turbo:
Set from the vendor with certificate has to be kept the same as in the certificate, standalones which are userprogrammable are not allowed. If they see an aftermarket turbo on a car, they check the certificate first. Next question is: how is it controlled? Standalone is the wrong anser
