So as the title states I am trying to put toggle switches where the HVAC controller goes. I’m just wondering if anyone knows of a pre-fabricated plate for toggle switches or just for a delete plate. one that can replace that HVAC and has the little 90° brackets to mount up to the back of the tombstone. If not and anyone has some suggestions on how to fab one or what you bought to make it work let me know. Open to all ideas.

I wanted somewhere to hold my big *** samsung note 9. The AC did not work when i bought the car and i had removed all the components when i swapped my motor. I removed all the speakers and the radio as well and decided to just use a piece of metal slightly bigger then the opening. There are little holes on the back side of the tombstone where you could use a screw to hold the piece of metal so it doesnt go anywhere. As you can see i put a pop socket mount on mine and leave my phone on there when driving and left the cubby for small stuff like garage door opener or wallet.
