Default wiring diagram creation software?

Does anyone have any experience or recommendations for automotive wiring diagram creation software, preferably free to at least try, that is friendly and easy to use? Or is there a thread somewhere around here discussing this already? I see there's a few out there sort of like what I'm looking for but I'm not sure how much of a focus on automotive wiring they have, just wondering if anyone has tried any of them before and what they thought. Thanks for the help.

automotive? no idea. You can try a program like Fritzing... or a full up ECAD system.

Visio works very well, and you might already have it if you have a premium version of Office.

I use Visio at work. It does good even for the super elaborate systems I'm designing.

Eagle for PCBs and diagrams; we also like to use CATIA electrical wiring routing tool to check how it all comes together on a proper CAD SW.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll probably wind up checking some out just to see what they're like. I found this little program called Scheme-It on Digikey that isn't perfect, but is free and is gets the job done to help keep the circuits straight in my head.

I'm far from an expert, and I've arbitrarily assigned certain stock component images provided by the program to represent other things I couldn't find, I can't physically make wires appear with more than one color and have to add an additional label, and my wires are all over the place, but this is what I came up with after playing around with it. There's probably still some mistakes here and there, just a rough idea of what the diagrams will wind up looking like.
