Default Ignition timing problem?

I have a 92 miata with a 1.8 and turbo, running ms3 by brain, I tuned the car with ve autotune. Car ran fine before but now it will not rev past 4000 rpms, it acts like it hits the rev limiter. I plugged into tuner studio and when I rev it, it shows the ignition timing drop to 1 degree when it reaches around 4k. I have not changed anything in my setting so I don't think its ECU related. I have even tried to change my timing to fix timing to see what it would do, still drops to 1 degree around 4k. I am thinking maybe a bad CAS? Input would be much appreciated!

Edit: It does have a hard to starting once in a blue moon too, just keeps turning but wont catch.

It does it under boost or a light load with no boost. Rev limiter is set to 7000

click the diagnositics tab. check save to file. start a composite log and make it happen again. click stop once it does. post results.

Does it have launch control turned on?

If so, turn it off, see if that fixes it.

I have a feel it's his cam sensor dropping off. Launch should have been disabled on his basemap.

It's not launch control. When it gets up to 4k I can't give it full throttle or it will back fire and kick back down, doesn't stay. When it does back fire the tach goes crazy.

I was right.

100 internets to me.

Sadly, this happened to me as well when i was building the 91. Didn't look much further into it, just disabled it. Could be a NA6 issue, where launch control doesn't work, or is setup on the wrong input.
