1.6 to 1.8 engine conversion ?'s
 

hello all newby here. i tried to do a search on this without any luck i hope that someone can gimme a clue. I just swapped out my '90 1.6 to a '94 1.8 mota. i cant get her to run. the fire is good and while im in my early stages of ts the problem i suspect a fuel pressure problem. the 1.6 intake and fuel pressure reg are different than the 1.8. i have a few vacuum hose fitting that are not plugged on the 1.8 intake. also on the 1.8 intake the fpr has vacuum hoses going to a electrical valve or sensor???? idk what it is. i dont have a electrical plug for this in the 1.6 wiring. is this my problem??? any ideas? thanks in advance. btw this is a cool site.
