2.5 test pipe with cutout vs. enthuza 2.5 Turbo racer
So im debating between 2 exhaust options. First off, I have a 2.5 inch begi downpipe stock exhaust currently. So i was thinking of getting a 2.5 inch test pipe from enthuza and having one of these welded into it.
https://shop.quicktimeperformance.co...ct_detail&p=24 I like the idea of having a really quiet exhaust stock and then being able to open it up whenever i feel like. price breakdown: cutout- $215 + not sure about shipping test pipe- $50 + shipping so around $265-290 ish My other option is the enthuza 2.5 inch turbo racer exhaust. the benefit of this would be that it would be a full 2.5 inch plus wouldnt be nearly as loud as the open cut-out. the only downside is the price and the fact that it wont be as quiet as stock exhaust with closed cut-out price breakdown: Exhaust- $378 + actual shipping test pipe- $50 + shipping so around $420-450 ish So for almost $200 in savings, im leaning toward the cutout route. Anyone have any advice or have a preference? |
I love my 2.5 Enthuza. What I have is the SS Turbo Racer and a test pipe and it really isn't that loud. This is my dd as well.

How much boost are you running? A 2.5" system will not be too loud for a daily driver. I would be worried about tuning the car with the stock exhaust then being lean or overboosting with the cutout open.

The Turbo racer exhaust is not loud. Its aggressive when accelerating but quiet at cruise. I like it.
This i with a stock cat in place. |
