Default Couple N/A 1.6 questions

So, the FM adapter plate for a 1.8 swap causes interference between my upper radiator hose and the 1.6 intake tubing.

I picked up some 1.8 intake tubing and was going to see if it makes enough room between itself and the upper radiator hose. Then I notice that the tubing that I marked in the picture with X's doesn't fit on the same way, they're facing the wrong way, etc. etc.

The red X on the left looks like it goes past the throttle body so I'm assuming if I just left that open it would basically be a huge vacuum leak, but I'm not sure. EDIT: It goes directly under the throttle body, is this the (cold) idle bypass?

The two smaller red X's come from the valve cover, and I don't know if it matters, couldn't I just put a little cone filter on that breather tube and call it a day? EDIT: It may go into the specified hole in the 1.8 tubing if I get longer hose. But could I use a tiny cone filter anyway?

The bigger Red X right above goes to the chamber underneath the tubing, which I know serves a purpose, but the chamber on the 1.8 tubing is in a different place anyway. So I'm assuming this doesn't matter.

Anyone know for sure what would happen if I transferred over the 1.8 tubing and left that big tb hose open?

I think there may be a problem with the 1.6 thermostat housing being in the way, but nothing that a 1.8 t-stat housing couldn't fix. EDIT AGAIN: FML, looks like the cooling fan may be in the way...

Just in case it matters, I'm on the stock 1.6 ECU.

Opinions/advice/**** talking? The whole purpose for this is basically so that the hose and the tubing aren't touching anymore. I already cut the radiator hose, at first there was no way the tubing and hose were gonna get along....
