Are they an improvment over stock 94-00 ignition ?
I've got a set of these last week and wondering if they are better than the old Version ?

 

Way better then 99-00 for sure.... I do run them on my NB1 and no problem since then.

i bought a 2002 Nb 1.8 Automatic this Week with this "Cop's"
Never seen them before that's why i ask
Are they Plug and play or what was needed to run them (wiring etc.) ?
I have a 90 Miata with 94 harness and a Nb 1.8 Engine....

 

Follow the vvt swap thread.

You'll need to wire them, and figure out how to mount them. youll need to swap the entire head if you want the valve cover for its mounts. Or find a msm valve cover.

 

I already looked in the vvt swap thread earlier this week....but will read more
I guess a custom braket on a 99 Cover will be less trouble than fitting the whole vvt head !?
Mazdaspeed Parts are extremly rare in Europe ,i know they use the 99 Head and these Coils,but never seen them in a N/a Modell before

 

The valve cover is exactly the same as a 99-00. Except with vvt coil mounts. And red powdercoat. And it says turbo. And it has a pcv brace like the '01+
