2001 head on 94 block

is a 2001 head without the VVT compatable with a 94 engine block?

what will have to be done?

All 94-05 blocks/heads bolt up to one another

you'll need an oil supply for the VVT and you'll need to address the difference in cam sensors. the earlier cam sensor will fit on the exhaust cam to get you started.

Doesn't matter, the #1 intake cam cap is oiled through the VVT oil feed line. The head will bolt up, but if you plan on actually running the motor, you must hook up the VVT oil feed line .
