Default 2003 Protege FS head w/ VICS - any use?

So, my buddy just had a Protege come through his shop that had tremendous rod-knock. He ended up swapping in another FS 2.0 and when we dug into the old motor, sure enough all 4 rods would move side to side on the crank. He threw the block away but held onto the head just in case the new engine needed anything. He said I can have the head if I want it and he doesn't need to use anything.

Question is... What is this worth to me? Is there anything that can be used on the BP (would love to replace the HLAs with the solid lifters if they would swap)?

Otherwise.... Should I just sell it off to the Protege crowd as a spare head?

What would you guys do?

BTW - head is complete with the IM and all sensors and throttle body. I could ebay all of the bits if I wanted.

*Edited stupid spelling errors and other ambiguity.
