Default 99 head swap

I know ill probably get flamed for this but i've got a 00 head sitting in my garage and i wanna put it on my 95 block does any one have a write up on it or some information about it. what im wondering is how does the vvt portion of the head work is it in the cams or intake manifold. essentially i just wanna use this head for the better ports on the intake side seeing is that im turbo. i dont really care for the vvt aspect of it. also i dont have the intake manifold that goes with this head i was looking into building a manifold and was wondering since i dont have the flap like the oem manifold do i still need to hook up some rpm actuator for the cams. thanks in advance
