Aluminum Radiators

Hey guys,
I was just wondering who makes the best aluminum radiators. Of course I think its going to be based on personal opinions but from personal experiences can some of you guys tell me who you like and why you like it.

Thanks,
Ryan

whoever makes the cheapest, most efficient radiator, makes the best one.

best=cheapest=godspeed*(china made)

PWRs are the best IMO.

Mine has been flawless. They aren't cheap though.

Ryan, this is the second question you have asked this week that has been covered MANY TIMES!! Try the freaking search feature!!

friend's car had overheating issues with the godspeed........went back to OE and hasn't had any issue since.

i'm just sayin'.......

RyanRaduechel 07-23-2009 04:52 PM

sorry zoomin. I didnt mean to offend you. I was just wondering because I am in need of buying a new one.

marinerblue92 07-27-2009 03:50 PM

Mishimoto absolutely. Priced right, lifetime warranty, cools my buddy's LS1 swapped 240 without any issues...

Your friend also went back to stock fans. I think the fans were a big part of the problem.

ron davis, CRR, fluidamper, or any double-pass sprint car radiator. Ducting is what makes radiators great.

tiber55 07-27-2009 07:23 PM

It seems the the "best" would be the new cross flow radiators from ron davis and springfield dyno, but with pricing around 600 dollars its probably not the best for price/cooling gain.

When i go to replace my stocker it will be with a cx racing radiator with fan should/low pro fans, because at ~260 shipped it is a killer deal.

PRC Double Pass Racing Radiator
Double pass @ $212. Will Require some skills.

So skills why? Because the inlet and the outlet are both on the passenger side?

m2cupcar 07-28-2009 06:04 PM

Yes - and you have to build a cradle to hang it. But none of it's very difficult IMO.

RyanRaduechel 07-28-2009 08:44 PM

it is a very nice piece though...I dont think making it work would be hard at all...and its a really good price too

cueball1 07-29-2009 01:45 PM

Quality part made in the USA at just over $200? Good job PRC. If I didn't already have the Godspeed I'd fab in one of these just for the patriotism.
