Another Dumb one!!!

So my buddy just go in his very own E-gay turbo kit. Out of the boxes it looks pretty nice. T-28 and all, you know China knock off. At any rate I'm trying to get him on his feet at a beer budget.

So what I had him order is;
1. 23250-70080 Supra injects
2. Bipes ACU
3. BEGI

After reading for a bit, I can't think of anything else he'll need. Anyone want to suggest?
FYI he doesn't have enough for anything cool like a piggy/ or MEGA :hustler:

What year car? How do you order a "Begi"?

The manifold will essentially disintegrate in 2 months. Nothing will fit together properly. You won't have water or oil lines in the kit. Your pretty much wasting your time and $700. Read the sticky that says "Ebay turbo kits"

Your title is appropriate however.

90' And I meant a BEGi rising-rate regulator

Link to the ebay kit he bought?

I mean I do have a set of 265cc sitting around, but I figured he should just upgrade. That way wehn he has more money he can sell all of this easy.

I think a few people have run that manifold for a bit without cracking, but from what Ive heard they always crack eventually.

Thats what I have heard too. I mean I'm sure I could TIG it back together, but if all else fails we'll just get a different one. I haven't heard anything about the quality of the turbo though.

As far as the injects, Bipes, and BEGi go I don't think I forgot anything? That should be enough to start huh?

No offense, but if you don't *KNOW* you shouldn't be helping other people turbocharge their cars. I'm not saying this to be a prick, but if you forget something, what stops your friend from blaming you when he tanks his engine?

Just seeing if I left anything out. Bored at work more or less kind of thinking out loud, and hoping to spark a conversation.

Sure, your *buddy* bought it. But seriously, just look through some installation manuals for kit turbos and see what they have/say and compare it to what you have. Like the Greddy installation doesn't use an intercooler or larger injectors and runs 5psi, so by starting there you'll get a good idea of what you need to not blow it up.

Also go to Flyin Miata and BEGI and see what is included in their kits.

over $1000 of good stuff. Dont be like me, I once did the ebay routea long time ago, the only thing I have left from that is the intercooler and piping. maybe the turbo flange for the downpipe. I dont remember tho.
