Default Amount of timing to pull for accidental regular?

I asked for premium, the attendant put in regular, so I now have 10.4gal of it in the tank.... And I just got it together and started enjoying it.

I have about 150mi I have to drive today on the highway. I will be tieing the bypass open to stay out of boost. How much would you pull where to be safe? I don't have time to empty the tank out.

your map is already very conservative; pulling over 1° per psi.

coupled with your m45, i wouldn't be too concerned. Just don't go hog wild.

This is good news to hear. I was more concerned with the cruise cells for on the highway than the boost cells (I can just stay out of boost). I know if I pull too much timing it can be an issue as well so wanted to ask. Thanks a ton!

Map is super concervative since I just got the car back on the road and just started tuning fuel and such. I will just keep an ear out for pinging. I am set up to make a whopping 3.5psi at the moment, though I was going to swap the pulley and start tuning fuel at higher boost levels later this week... Oh well.

Or grab a 5 gallon gas canister, fill it with 91/93, grab your old lawnmower gas can/girlfriends car/wife's car/best friends car, and prime your pump into their tank using output test mode. Fill with higher octane, and take it to another gas station for top off.

You have way more patience than I do.

I work full time and go to class. The earliest I have time to do that is thrusday night. So I am kind of stuck with it until then at least.

That is the plan though once I have the time (also, we get nice 93 here in NJ).

Quite well, though it is crunch time on final projects.

Me too! I did that after school. Now I'm in school again. Confused? I am too!

I love researching. Hence why I spend so much time reading on the forums.... But yeah, going to class, sitting, listening to someone talk, and then learning it when I actually have to do it, is getting old.

Also, my mother is making me walk in the ceremony for my associates, I hate big ceremonies like that....

I could probably count on one hand the number of times I went to class over the last two years... And I live right across the street too!
