BEGi Coolant Spacer Problem

This is the orientation I used with my BEGI spacer. The plug at the bottom hit the tranny so I had to put a flush cap screw in there instead. If you have coils right above there, the temp sensor might be in the way - a good reason to run COPs!

After talking with BEGi, they are going to revise their kits to include a 45 degree elbow fitting along with the straight barb fitting. This should resolve the problem that I had. Apparently another person has contacted them about the problem as well. They also offered me a free elbow to resolve my problem, but I've already got the spacer installed and there isn't any leaks. I just don't feel like spending another hour hunched over the motor to remove and reinstall the spacer again.

That's the way I did mine also.

I'm using that top plug for a header tank.
