Best Coolant Path for Turbo + Reroute + Heater Core Delete
I know this topic has been beaten to death, but I haven't found much consensus on it. I'm entertaining the three options illustrated below and was wondering which, if any, is the most optimal (this is with a an M-Tuned reroute, if that makes any difference). I'm leaning towards option 1 right now as that would look the cleanest, but I don't know if there is enough coolant flow through the oil cooler/turbo line to relieve pressure when the thermostat is closed. Would greatly appreciate your input.

You need flow through the engine even when the thermostat is closed so that there aren't hot spots so three or something like three is the best you proposed.

The issue is, then, that there isn't enough flow through the oil cooler and turbo in option 1, correct?
What about the turbo receiving coolant from the oil warmer? Is there anything wrong with setting it up that way? |
