Is your turbo braced or just hanging off the manifold?

ya its just on the mani.

i solved this issue tho.. a friend said to call AAA and i had completely forgot i had them.. i havnt needed AAA in probably 4 years lol

Making manifolds out of SCH 40 stainless is pretty common on this site, yet almost unheard of on other cars.
The vibrational forces coupled with the stress of the weight of the turbo + exhaust + charge pipes will kill your manifold/collector. That's why performance orientated cars brace the turbos. The BPTs/BPDs in the 1990+ Mazda Familias/323s have a bracket securing the turbo to the block to support the weight, cracked manifolds aren't an issue.

Clearly that's why the vast majority of us who don't have bracing don't have cracked manifolds.

I didn't say no bracing = cracked manifolds, but those wondering why they do keep cracking manifolds with heavier than stock turbos should look into bracing, /efight.
