Built?? Does it work?
So Ik this is going to sound very noob but I'm just curious so I don't get my hopes up and spend too much. So I've been seeing youtubers "Thecarpassionchannel" and "Gingium" saying that they are going to completely build their miata motors, both 1.8, one the vvt version and one the normal. Also they are both talking about getting 450-500whp which to me sounds like way way too much out of a 4cyl and expecially for the price they are saying Gingium said it would be about 5-6k in order to fully build the motor which I get but are those power numbers reasonable? Expecially without blowing up, cuz Ik I can pack a huge amount of nos in my miata and throw out power numbers but then it'll blow! So are these builds really going to be able to achieve what they said? 5-6k for a fully built miata 1.8 capable of a semi reliable 450-500hp???

No one is reading that retarded drivel. I suggest you start reading instead of making stupid threads like this. This isn't facebook or instagram or whatever other ricer sites you're used to visiting where you can text-post the vaguest of questions.

So hitting 400whp isn't out of the books with a 5ish thousand dollar budget(excluding the car)?
