Cannot use full throttle
Have been having issues with my turbo charged miata. First it jumped 4teeth on the timing gear during a track event. Replaced timing belt, water pump, tensioner and spring. All went well for 3 run sessions then on the next session the car would not take anything over about 1/4 throttle without dropping power. It idles fine and I can drive it with very little throttle input but any increase throttle makes it like its flooding out. Tried to reset the ecu but no luck so I need any ideas on what to check next. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Did you check the crank pulley and keyway? What year is your car?
What ECU? What's your AFRs?
OP, you posted way too many details. You might wanna tone it down, we're overwhelmed with information we have to work with, it will take a long time to sort through all of it and then attempt to spoon feed you.
Reminds me of a conversation I had last night, when my sister in law called me: "my car doesn't go over 35mph, do you know what's wrong with it?" "no, bring it over and we will diagnose the problem" "the problem is that the car won't go over 35mph, the tachometer goes up but the car doesn't go any faster, can you please just tell me what's wrong with it?" "I can't diagnose a car over the phone with no information to go off" "but I just gave you all the information" |

Wat?
1996 with FM2 kit and link system. Don't have wideband so can't give AFR's but they were set by Corky Bell last summer when it was dynoed.
Well, that'd be the thing to check next. Your AFRs.
Or boost leak test it.... this thing still has a MAF, right? |
Yes it has a maf
How do I do a boost leak test?
You search google for "boost leak tester."
Then you follow instructions. |
Line up your timing marks and take a picture of it for us. It is REALLY common to be off a bit.
Look for the blown off intercooler pipe! Easy boost leak tester with this bad of a leak is the mark 1 eyeball. If the eyeball isn't enough grab the pipes and shake them around... the loose one is probably your problem :)
