This is very interesting. Many on here state DW as a good supplier having used them in real track cars.
Including having discussions about DW over Walbro around fitment ease and power supply.
Would love to see more of the mods jump in with experience.

A failure so early seems very bad and should be sent back for diagnosis really.

Three failures in only a few months also seems like something else is the issue.

I had a DW200 and it failed in September of last year (installed in 2013?). Since my power goals have gone up I went with a DW300 but I hope my choice doesn't turn out to be the wrong one.

Yea, I think the DW pumps have a 3 year warranty so Im going to send it in to them. I bought it from Trackspeed last year when I put my built engine in the car, its got maybe 4k miles on it and about a year old. As far as fitment the GSS342 and the DW200 are exactly the same size and use the same power plug on the pump.

Verdict : the dw200 is a POS. Dropped in the walbro and it's back to running like a good girl. Thew in a new filter too, but the old one was not clogged at all. So honestly I can not recommend a dw pump. I've never had a pump fail so quickly. It is more quiet than the walbro but that's about the old good thing I can say about it.

How much louder is the wally?

At least 2x as loud. I can hear it with the top down crusing around. Im kinda odd, I dont mind the noise. I like mechanical noises, but it is definitely a whiny little bitch.
