jdm 1.6 on usdm chassis
hey, in august i told you guys that i was looking for a used miata engine https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/t38643/
i didnt have enough money then, but i can get the money now to get my replacement engine. i do have 3 shops i can install the motor in and i know what im doing, just not miata specifics. just wondering if the jdm miata motor works with the usdm ecu and everything?
if there are any fitment or other issues please let me know. im trying to get it up and running so i can either boost it, or sell it.
useless info you may wanna know thats unrelated to engine performance:
i am in a weird place right now; i know i shouldn't be wrenching on cars right now (since getting my automotive degree is my first priority) and should probably get a car to prepare for the winter so i can get to and from my job and my cousins house on the weekends, and commute from college, etc. but i love my miata, and i would love to get it boosted and up to what i thought it would be when i bought it. i just feel its impractical. i need some advice from someone whose been to college with a unreliable (at least my miata is) tuner car, and wether they feel that it was a good decision or not. pm me thanks guys.

I bought a $1000 beater subaru. Best thing I ever did. I drive the miata when its running well and i want to have fun, drive the "dike wagon" when I need to go somewhere or the weather is shitty. I live 10 minutes off campus so driving to class is a must.
