Coolant coming out of exhaust pipe
 

I have a 92' turboed miata. What might cause coolant to come out of the exhaust pipe (tip)? Coolant doesn't come out until I shut off the car. There is a pretty big puddle everytime.

Head gasket.

Pull the spark plugs after you turn it off and the coolant comes out of the exhaust. See if the plugs are wet.

Remove spark plugs...

Do a coolant pressure test...pump up 3 or 4 times after the needle on the gauge falls...

Spin engine over with starter...

See what plug hole spits coolant

i've blown two of them. each time the symptoms were the same.
