Coolant reroute blockoff plate

I did a coolant reroute on my vvt motor, used the trackspeed engineering blockoff plate. I'm worried about having trapped air on cylinder number 1. Do any of you add a bleeder screw to the plate (without using freeze plug) to burp the system? Savington said I don't need this. What is the general consensus?

The general consensus is that, Savington knows what he is doing. Just say ok.

I agree that he is knowledgeable. Emilio says to raise the front of the car at least 10" when burping it with the m tuned reroute but the m tuned reroute has a bleeder screw

Cylinder #1? You mean the one with the water pump bolted to it??

You raise the car to make sure the radiator neck is well above the rear thermostat, not to bleed cylinder #1. You're over thinking this Pat.

Does the M-tuned kit really have a bleeder screw? I thought the block off plate just had two ports for sensors, and those ports got plugs if you didn't need them for sensors.

I've been running Sav's blockoff plate with a freeze plug behind it for a few years with no problems. Don't worry about it.
